As I have multiple pets here, you can imagine pet hair can be a problem. Especially since I am an OCD cleaning person. I have used so many products trying to get around this issue. Well, Instagram made me do it! I saw an ad for Uproot; a very simple looking scraper-type thing. The ads were impressive, but aren't most ads? I wanted to know more so I went on Amazon and bought one. All I can say is WOW! I put it to the test. I vacuumed first and then tried Uproot to see what would happen. It took another large handful of hair out of a 4x6 area rug. After my amazement that it worked so well, my next thought was, have my rugs been that dirty all this time? I had to look past that and just be happy I found Uproot when I did.
RATING: 4 out of 5 stars
Why did I take off a star? The price. I bought this very plain looking tool at $16.99. I admit, I hesitated because of the price but I really wanted to find out if this was the answer to my hair problems (it was). When I looked this week, it was up to $23.99??? I feel like that is expensive even if it does a great job. I think you have to decide if it's worth it for yourself. One other thing; it's advertised as getting hair out of any surface. I found out, when you try to use it on anything with loops, like towels and some rugs, it will pull and cause snags. Since I barely use it on those kinds of surfaces, it was not a concern for me. I wanted to let you know loopy surfaces can be problematic. Click here to read more reviews on Amazon https://amzn.to/43k2LS9
